Privacy Policy
SANGI CO., LTD. (hereinafter referred to as the “Company”) may retain personal information primarily for the purposes of providing customers with up-to-date information and developing products. In compliance with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information, the Company has established the following standards for the handling of personal information and will manage and operate such information appropriately. By using the Company’s services or other offerings, customers are deemed to have agreed to this Privacy Policy.
Standards for Handling Personal Information
Definition of Personal Information
In this Privacy Policy, “personal information” means information relating to a living individual that can identify a specific individual by name, date of birth, address, telephone number, email address or other description contained in such information (including information that can be readily cross-referenced with other information to identify a specific individual), as well as information containing a personal identification code.
Purposes of Use of Personal Information
The Company acquires and uses personal information within the scope of the following purposes:
-Registering members for the Company’s services, verifying their identity when they use such services, and managing customers
-Responding to requests, inquiries and other communications from users
-Contacting and notifying customers and providing after-sales services
-Processing payments, invoices or refunds in connection with the Company’s services
-Providing information on new products and other matters, providing information on campaigns and events, responding to inquiries, and sending prizes to campaign winners

Personal Information Acquired by the Company
In addition to information specified by applicable laws and regulations, the personal information that the Company acquires from customers includes the following:
-Information provided by customers, including name, age, gender, date of birth, address, telephone number and email address
-Information concerning payments and payment methods
-Information concerning the use of and purchases made through the Company’s services
-Behavioral history, IP address, URLs viewed, device information and other information obtained through cookies and other tracking technologies
Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties
The Company will not provide personal information to any third party without the individual’s prior consent, except in any of the following circumstances:
-When required by laws or regulations
-When necessary to protect a person’s life, body or property and it is difficult to obtain the customer’s consent
-When particularly necessary to improve public health or promote the sound development of children and it is difficult to obtain the customer’s consent
-When cooperation is required in connection with a national government agency or other public authority performing duties prescribed by laws or regulations
Outsourcing and Supervision of the Handling of Personal Information
To facilitate its operations and provide customers with better services, the Company may outsource the handling of customers’ personal information to the extent necessary to achieve the purposes of use set forth under “Purposes of Use of Personal Information.” When outsourcing the handling of personal information to a third party, the Company will require the service provider to manage such information securely and will exercise appropriate supervision over the service provider.
Disclosure, Correction, Addition, Deletion, Suspension of Use and Erasure
ICustomers who wish to request disclosure or other action regarding personal information held by the Company or records of provision to third parties—including notification of purposes of use; disclosure of personal information or records of provision to third parties; correction, addition or deletion; suspension of use; or suspension of provision to third parties—should contact the “Contact Information” below.
When the individual concerned requests confirmation, correction or other action regarding personal information, the Company will conduct an investigation without undue delay as necessary and respond promptly to a reasonable and necessary extent based on the results. The Company may verify the identity of the individual in connection with these procedures.

The Company uses tools provided by third parties, including cookies, to improve customer convenience, measure website usage and deliver advertising. Information acquired through these tools is managed in accordance with the privacy policies of the respective providers.

Management of Personal Information (Security Control Measures)
The Company endeavors to keep customers’ personal information accurate and up to date and implements measures to prevent unauthorized access, loss, theft, damage, alteration and leakage, thereby managing such information appropriately. The Company specifically takes the following measures:
-Establishment of a basic policy: The Company has established a basic policy to ensure the proper handling of personal information.
-Personnel security control measures: The Company provides regular training to employees regarding matters requiring attention in the handling of personal data.
-Physical security control measures: Documents and other materials containing personal data are appropriately stored and managed in lockable cabinets, filing cabinets or similar secure storage, and are disposed of using methods that prevent their restoration.
-Technical security control measures: The Company implements access controls to limit the personnel authorized to handle personal data and the scope of personal information databases and other resources they may access.
-Understanding the external environment: The Company implements security control measures after understanding the personal information protection systems of foreign countries, including the United States, in which personal data—including data stored on cloud services used by the Company—is stored.
